Yes! In fact, HB 252 sponsored by Kelly Kortum (D - Bozeman] in the 2021 session would have created a local option for cities and towns to use RCV for their nonpartisan municipal races. Although it died in committee, it began the discussion of RCV in the Montana legislature.
